Threats for 2010

A MessageLabs white paper entitled The Tangled Web: Silent Threats and Invisible Enemies 2010 looks at the key threats for the coming year, and offers suggestions on how to protect yourself, with a focus on the benefits of the hosted security model.

"In the not so distant past, businesses used a simple technique to avoid computer viruses or malware: They cautioned their employees to 'not-click' on dubious- looking email attachments," the white paper states. "Those days are long gone. Today companies face network threats that are often unseen, narrowly targeted and much more difficult to detect."
